Before the pandemic, you probably didn’t do much planning before you went to the grocery store. You knew you needed something, and you just hopped in the car to go get it. Now, though, things are different, and planning is more necessary in order to avoid potential risks to your health and well-being.
Here are some things to think about before you leave the home that can help you to make the most of your shopping expedition.
- Think about whether this is the best time to go to the store, or if you could go when the store is less busy.
- Bring disinfecting wipes and/or hand sanitizer.
- Make a list of the items you need before you leave, and write the list in the order of where the items are located in the store starting with the main entrance. This will help you move quickly and efficiently through the store.
- Buy as many of the needed items from one store as possible -even if there may be a minor increase in price – to avoid going to multiple stores.
